The Rainbow 6 TZ is designed for gas, electric and ceramic hobs. When using it, place the moka pot so that the handle is out of direct reach of the heat source.

How does the Bialetti Rainbow moka pot work?

The moka pot has a lower water chamber, a funnel with a filter for the ground coffee and an upper chamber for the finished brew.

Pour water into the lower chamber below the level of the safety valve. Then put the ground coffee into the filter, screw the moka pot together and place it on the heat. Under pressure, the hot water passes through the coffee and rises into the upper chamber.

After a few minutes the coffee is ready to serve.

Wash the Bialetti Rainbow by hand. The manufacturer does not recommend putting the moka pot in the dishwasher or using strong detergents.
