If you want to start brewing coffee by hand and are looking for a proven, versatile option, the Hario V60-02 dripper is an excellent choice. This iconic Japanese brewer brings out the full flavour and aroma of coffee in a simple but effective way. Pour-over gives you huge scope to experiment and makes brewing coffee a real pleasure.

Capacity and use

The Hario V60-02 brews 300 to 500 ml of coffee at a time, which is 1-4 cups depending on serving size. It works for everyday use and for serving coffee to guests.

Light, tough plastic version

The clear plastic V60 is the most affordable dripper in the range. Even so, it is no worse than the other versions when it comes to the coffee in the cup. The plastic is tough and light, so the dripper is also great for travel. The cone shape and spiral ribs on the inside give excellent water flow and full control over extraction. The recommended water temperature for this version is 92°C maximum.

Quick brewing and easy care

To make coffee you need freshly ground high-quality coffee, a paper filter, a mug or server and a scale. The filter goes into the dripper, which sits directly on the vessel. The whole brew takes about 2.5-4 minutes. After use, throw away the filter and wash the dripper under running water or in the dishwasher.
