Midea JS1844S Freestanding Water Dispenser (Black)

The Midea JS1844S is a modern bottleless water dispenser in black that combines a minimalist design with practical features. Connected directly to the mains water supply, it provides a constant supply of clean, fresh water. With no water bottles to change, it is convenient and economical.

The dispenser is well suited to offices, reception areas, waiting rooms, public offices and other public spaces where ease of use and constant access to drinking water matter.

Midea JS1844S water dispenser: cold, hot and room-temperature water

The JS1844S dispenses three types of water:

• room-temperature water

• cold water (about 8°C)

• hot water (about 90°C)

Output:

• cold water: up to 12 l/h

• hot water: up to 4 l/h

• room-temperature water: up to 25 l/h

This makes it quick to prepare both cold drinks and hot tea or coffee.

Intuitive control with a proximity sensor

The control panel at the top of the unit has four illuminated LED buttons, two indicator lights and a proximity sensor.

The proximity sensor lets you dispense water without touching the unit. Bring your hand close to the sensor to start dispensing and move it away to stop. This improves hygiene, especially in public spaces.

The control panel buttons are used for:

• dispensing cold water

• dispensing room-temperature water

• releasing the hot water safety lock

• dispensing hot water

UV lamp and optional water filter

The Midea JS1844S has a UV lamp designed to reduce microorganisms, bacteria and viruses in the water. An indicator light on the control panel shows when the UV lamp is working, so you can check that it is operating.

An additional water filter can also be fitted to improve the taste and smell of the water. The recommended option is the AQS Watersafe 2.5 filter, designed specifically for water dispensers and drinking fountains.

The control panel also has an indicator light showing when the filter needs replacing.

Dual flood protection system

For added safety, the dispenser has two leak sensors:

• an electronic sensor

• a mechanical sensor

The mechanical sensor works even during a power cut. When a leak is detected, the system automatically shuts off the water supply, minimising the risk of flooding.

The unit also has a removable drip tray with a mechanical overflow indicator, which catches excess water and prevents splashing.
