The Midea MRO2489C-400G uses a reverse osmosis membrane rated at 400GPD, which can filter up to 63 litres of water per hour. With filtration precision of 0.0001 μm, it removes many harmful substances from water, such as heavy metals, chlorine, bacteria, viruses and pesticides.

Tankless design that saves space

One of the biggest advantages of the system is its tankless design, which takes up much less space under the sink. Water is filtered on demand, so you always get fresh water without storing it.

Efficient water filtration

The Midea system has a favourable ratio of clean water to reject water. According to the manufacturer, under optimal conditions 2 litres of filtered water are produced for about 1 litre of reject water, which significantly reduces water waste compared with many standard reverse osmosis systems.

This lowers water consumption and running costs. Note, however, that at very low mains pressure the amount of reject water may be higher.
