It is a handmade Polish syrup made from gently caramelised sugar with a refined note of honey. It is made from simple ingredients and works well in coffee, drinks and desserts.

What Mount Caramel caramel syrup tastes like

It is the classic pairing of gently caramelised sugar with a refined note of honey. Caramel sweetness forms the base of the syrup, and Polish multifloral honey adds subtle depth. Lemon juice balances the sweetness and adds freshness.

In milk coffee the syrup blends well with espresso and gives the drink a sweet, caramel character. It works especially well in a latte and other milk-based coffees.

How to make caramel coffee at home

You do not need an expensive espresso machine. A moka pot or a filter coffee maker and a milk frother are enough.

1. Pour 15-20 ml of syrup into the bottom of the mug.
2. Make strong coffee, for example a double espresso or coffee from a moka pot. Pour it over the syrup and stir while it is hot.
3. Heat and froth 150 ml of milk. Regular 3.2% cow’s milk works well, and among plant drinks, a barista oat drink.
4. Pour the milk into the coffee and stir gently.

Start with 15 ml and adjust the amount of syrup to your taste.
