Exotic Fruit Tea: an infusion with exotic character
Built on hibiscus and exotic fruit, the blend gives a deeply coloured infusion with an intense flavour profile. For anyone who likes clearly fruity teas that wake up the senses and suit any time of year.
About the ingredients of Exotic Fruit Tea
The exotic fruit adds to the flavour and aroma of the infusion.
How to make Exotic Fruit Tea
Use 6 g of tea per 250 ml of water. Pour over water at 95°C and steep for 7-9 minutes. Brew the blend once only. Separate the fruit pieces from the infusion after steeping.
Tips for brewing fruit teas
Fruit teas do not turn bitter, so you can steep them longer for a more intense flavour. For a lighter infusion shorten the brew time; for a stronger one add 1-2 minutes. Fresh, filtered water gives the best result.
The tea also makes a very good iced tea. Let the infusion cool, then serve it with ice cubes and citrus fruit. A little honey or agave syrup brings out its natural fruity sweetness.
Storing the tea
Store the tea in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, strong odours and sunlight. Once opened, keep it in a sealed pack so it stays fresh and keeps its aroma.
