What makes The Gabi special is its shower element with 16 holes, which wets the ground coffee evenly over the whole surface and helps extraction. The brewer is made up of four plastic parts: a water tank, the shower, the dripper and a base.

Brewing is remarkably simple. Place the dripper with a filter on a mug and rinse it with hot water. Pour the water away, add 15 g of medium-ground coffee to the filter and put all the parts of the brewer together. Pour 150 ml of hot water into the top tank and your job is done. The water slowly drains into the shower element and wets the ground coffee evenly, drop by drop. After about 3 minutes, 150 ml of hot coffee is ready. This method removes the problem of pouring evenly from a kettle and gives very repeatable results.

The brewer comes with a neat plastic case.

The Gabi uses fluted flat-bottom filters. Filters are not included.
