Uganda Bulambuli Espresso is a freshly roasted coffee, ideal for espresso machines, from the scenic slopes of Mount Elgon in the Bulambuli region. It is the work of smallholders who sell their harvest to a washing station run by NKG.

Distinctive flavour profile: Uganda Bulambuli combines the SL 34, K7 and Blue Mountain varieties, which together create a balanced flavour profile. The aroma and flavour show apricot, a clear black tea note and a gentle honey finish. It is a balanced, full-flavoured coffee that will satisfy even demanding coffee drinkers.

High-quality processing: The beans are carefully selected, washed and dried at the Ibero Uganda washing station. Washing includes overnight fermentation, followed by 14 to 21 days of drying in solar dryers. This gives the coffee a very clean flavour and depth of aroma.

Origin: The coffee comes from the Bulambuli region of Uganda, from farms at 1,600-1,900 m a.s.l. The region is known for excellent coffee-growing conditions, which show in the quality and character of the coffee.

Supporting local farmers: Most of the farmers who deliver coffee to Ibero Uganda are part of the NKG BLOOM programme.

Great for different brew methods: Uganda Bulambuli works very well in an espresso machine, and also in other methods such as the moka pot or French press, so you can enjoy it in several ways.
