Fellow Prismo AeroPress Attachment

Fellow Prismo lets you make a strongly concentrated, full-bodied brew in the AeroPress, similar in character to coffee from a moka pot or a home espresso machine. A special valve stops the coffee from dripping through on its own, and the 70 micron metal filter lets you make an intense brew without a traditional espresso machine.

Espresso from an AeroPress? With Prismo it is possible!

A brew made with the Fellow Prismo will not replace a classic espresso from a professional espresso machine, but it gives a much more concentrated coffee than a standard AeroPress. A great option if you want an intense brew without a big machine.

Coffee made with the Prismo has high body: thick, full and intense. Its character resembles coffee from a moka pot or a home espresso machine. Diluted with water, it also makes a small Americano.

Fellow Prismo design

The attachment consists of a thread and a metal filter with 70 micron openings. At the outlet there is a special valve that stops the brew from leaking through on its own and allows brewing against more resistance.

How to make concentrated coffee with the Prismo

1. Fit the Prismo to the AeroPress and rinse everything with hot water.
2. Grind 20 g of coffee finely, close to an espresso grind.
3. Pour out the water, add the coffee and pour over 50-60 ml of water at about 96°C.
4. Stir vigorously for about 10 seconds.
5. Wait about 1 minute, insert the plunger and press the brew slowly straight into the cup.

Tip: the brew is highly concentrated. Drink it as it is, or add a little hot water for an intense Americano.
