Who is the Victoria Arduino Mythos MY65 for?

It is a practical choice for cafés, restaurants, hotels and patisseries where grind quality and consistent doses matter, but the largest MY75 and MY85 models would not be used to their full potential. When are 65 mm burrs enough instead of 75 mm?

65 mm flat burrs will be enough if the grinder does not have to produce many doses back to back for most of the day. It is a sensible choice for a venue with steady but not extremely high espresso sales, and for a station where the grinder works with one additional coffee.

Models with 75 or 85 mm burrs are worth choosing when higher output during a long queue matters most. The manufacturer does not publish a grinding speed for the MY65, so this model should not be compared with the larger versions purely on grams ground per second.

Smaller burrs do not mean lower espresso quality. The decision should depend mainly on how many coffees you make, how orders come in and the grinder’s role on the bar.
