The 85 mm burrs are the largest grinding set in the Mythos family. However, the manufacturer does not publish grinding speeds for the gravimetric versions, so the figure given for the time-based MY85 should not be applied to the MYG85.

The main advantage of the MYG85 is that it combines a build designed for heavy use with control of the actual weight of each dose. The grinder does not assume that a given time always equals the same number of grams. It weighs the coffee while grinding and stops by itself at the set dose.

Larger burrs do not automatically mean better-tasting espresso. They matter mostly under heavy workload, while gravimetric dosing helps reduce dose variation that could change the brew ratio and the course of extraction.
