Honduras Guara Verde
Medium roast specialty coffee
A natural product from small farms, where the coffee trees get proper care from the very start. Honduras Guara Verde is grown in regions such as El Paraiso, Santa Barbara, Lempira, Copan and Ocotepeque. It grows on hillsides at 1,300 to 2,067 m a.s.l. Its varieties include Catuai, Lempira, Ihcafe 90 and Bourbon. The cherries are harvested when they reach a deep purple colour. Every lot is checked for quality, then carefully washed and dried.
How it tastes and smells
Honduras Guara Verde tastes like a chocolate-coated plum with a touch of peanut butter. The result is impressive. It is also worth trying as a flat white, where many more nutty notes come through.
