Our roastery’s first time at Szczecin’s Coffee Festival
The Szczecin Coffee Festival is a key event for coffee lovers and professionals across West Pomerania. Our roastery, Colbergcoffee, had the pleasure of taking part for the first time, showing a broad range of coffees and professional equipment for the trade. We drew in people looking for more than just great flavour, our own house blends stood out for quality and character too. Roasting coffee is what drives us, and it was a genuine pleasure to share that.

Tasting our light roasts from the stand
Our stand, run by the Colbergcoffee team, stood out for the range of coffees on tasting. We poured single origin coffees from several countries, including Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia. A single origin coffee like this carries a distinct flavour that reflects the region and the growing conditions behind it.
Our Rwandan coffee’s freshness and story won people over
Our Rwandan coffee, from Sake Farm, turned out to be the most popular by far. It’s grown by a women-led cooperative that supports the local community, which gives it an extra edge. It’s also a delicate, subtle cup that impressed people at the festival. For anyone after specialty coffee, the Rwandan beans were the ones people kept coming back to.
Single origin coffees and house blends
We know roasting inside out, for espresso and for alternative brewing
Our range includes a wide choice of single origin coffee alongside house blends, including Arabica blends put together for different taste preferences. At the festival we poured medium-roast specialty coffees for espresso machines and moka pots. They went down very well, and we heard plenty of good feedback.
A low-acidity blend with real intensity
We also brewed our darker-roast Strong Storm blend (70/30), made for people who like a deep, intense cup. Our roastery got as warm a welcome in Szczecin as our coffee did.

The Colbergcoffee stand drew huge interest from Szczecin locals, who got the chance to buy freshly roasted whole bean coffee selected by our roastery.

Alongside our coffee, we brought professional coffee equipment to the festival. Our stand featured machines from well-known brands including Victoria Arduino, Nuova Simonelli and PuqPress. The Victoria Arduino Eagle One Prima espresso machine drew particular interest, a good fit for home use or a small café.
