What is specialty coffee?
Specialty coffee is a top-grade product defined by quality at every stage of production, from bean to cup. To be classed as specialty, a coffee should score at least 80 points on the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) scale. The beans come from carefully managed farms where every detail counts: microclimate, altitude and careful harvesting. Each stage is tightly controlled, which shows in the natural flavour and genuine aroma of specialty coffee.
